Mini Lace Front. Wigs with a mini lace front feature a small, triangle- or half-moon-shaped lace section positioned at the hairline where the hair parts. This design allows you to style the hair away from your face, giving it a natural-looking appearance.

Traditional Lace Front. This is the most common type of lace front across wig brands. Laying across the middle of the forehead, the traditional lace front allows you to style the hair off the face while still looking realistic. 

Temple-to-Temple Lace Front. This type of lace front is another common feature amongst wig brands. The lace stretches across the entire forehead to create a natural hairline along the front of the wig. 

Extended Lace Front. Wigs with extended lace fronts are great for those who like to wear their hair in updos or half-dos. The lace runs across the forehead and extends down to the front of the ear tabs. 

Ear-to-Ear Lace Front. An ear-to-ear lace front is similar to the extended lace front. The long lace piece runs along the front of the wig - stretching across the forehead and connecting to the ear tabs. The hair is hand tied into lace, giving the wearer the added benefit of a seamless hairline that blends into the forehead and temples. 

Comfort Lace Front. The Comfort Lace Front is a unique feature found on select wigs in Ellen Wille’s collection. The dual-layer construction provides durability and comfort. The first layer is made with standard lace while the second layer is a thin piece of Swiss lace that feels soft against the skin. Ideal for those with sensitive skin. 

Uncut Lace Front.  Unlike the previous lace fronts mentioned above, the uncut lace front is the only one that’s not ready to wear. They are designed for clients who like to customize the length of the lace front for their wig.
