How to measure head size
To determine the right size wig for you, measure the circumference of your head from the front hairline, behind your ear, to the nape of your neck, to your other ear and then back to the front hairline. Jot down your measurement then consult the table below. Please note that sizes may vary slightly by brand.
Many wigs come in petite, average and large cap sizes. Average size wigs, however, tend to fit about 90-95% of customers. See wig size chart below, so you are able to determine the best cap size for you!

I had major surgery about three months ago and they tell you (in the long list of possibilities they warn you about) that you may lose your hair due to the shock to your body (telogen effluvium). I didn’t give it a second thought until about 60% of my hair fell out two weeks ago. 😢 I already have super thin, fine hair to begin with and so it’s not like I had it to lose and it has been traumatizing to finally recover from such a rough surgery only to look like a sad, 3/4 plucked chicken. I am not a hat girl so I started looking at toppers and wigs online.
As I quickly found out, most wigs - even those advertised lite density - are just waaaay too much hair for someone like me and you just end up looking silly. But when I saw Robin (in harvest gold), it was the first wig that actually was the color of my hair (dishwater blond) and the same texture. I didn’t want long hair and it seemed stupid to buy a long wig just to chop off the long, but it arrived today and that’s exactly what I did. And I am soooooo happy for the first time in two miserable weeks! I did an initial cut myself (first pic) then decided I was being an idiot and went and found a stylist willing to help out (second pic) so the cut was even and thinned out a bit more (even Robin = too much hair for me), And I look just like me - only “me” on my best hair days pre-menopause. 😂 This totally rocks. I’m almost 58 and it was going to be a depressing milestone with my (mostly) bald baby…
